I am writing a paper that says to summarize a current issue between Natives and the government. Identify the legislation that you think is linked to the issue, and explain why you think there is a connection.

I am not completey sure that I understand this at all.

If I call the destructor of a dynamic linked list of three or more nodes,

What I observe is that currentPtr gets deleted as well as the last node, but while currentPtr gets set to NULL, the last node remains as garbage.

How can I also set the last node to null?

It looks like you are trying to delete the entire list. You have to save next before deleting current. You don't set the last node to NULL. You just delete it.

Try this

If you want to delete a specific node, you have to know the one to delete and the one before it.

i have had stomach problems for about a year. i have been to two doctors, had a UE, and been perscribed to prevacid ever sense. i came across something about a girl who had the exact same syptoms as me and the exact same phobia as me. i am deathly afraid of throwing up or seeing/hearing/hearing about someone throwing up. i get panic attacks and can not control myself. my doctors can not explain what is wrong with my stomach and its been a year. is there anyway its linked to my phobia??? HELP!!?

I have bi polar disorder i think. There is a test onine with a spinning dancer (search left right brain on google first resut) that detemines whether you are left or right brin dominant. During episodes of mania the test howed me to be hugely right brain dominant and at normal times i am left dominant. Is this a coincidnce or are the two linked?

Normally, eating disorders are linked to depression, however, the bigger and more evident link is the link to Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

Eating Disorders are about the control of eating. The person perpetuates the eating disorder because it's usually the only thing they feel in control of in their life when they develop it. Having depression will make the distorted image the person sees when they look at their body feel even more ashamed and worse.

If you have an eating disorder and suspect you have depression, seek a support network and any help you can. I hope that you are able to get better and work through this with professional help.

I have been smoking weed for probably about a year now, and I'd say I've done it 30+ times. But something odd appeared in the last 5 times I smoked. My heart began to hurt momentarily and it made me very distressed while it was happening... But then it would go away after maybe about 30 seconds so I didnt think of it as a huge deal (big, stupid mistake). However, the last time I smoked two days ago it became more serious. It did not go away for maybe 5 minutes, and I began losing my breathe, and the pain became even worse. I told a friend it was happening and he said, "dont have a heartattack" and I completely freaked out. I went into the the other room and wanted the pain to go away so bad, and I decided to call 911. Long story short, I passed out on the phone with 911 only being able to say "help me." and they tracked where i was and picked me up. I did not tell the hospital I was smoking, because I'm afraid of my parents. Is this linked to anxiety attacks, or is my heart bad?

i seriously wouldnt worry about it. ive been doing drugs for years and so has my girlfriend. Ive been to the doctor about it and theyve told me that the main cause of mine was due to drugs. Its more common than you think and it does get worse the more you worry about it but the worse that can happen is you pass out again. There is absolutly no risk of a heart attack atall. If you tell you doctor (which by the way is confidential and can never get back to your parents) they may offer you drugs, i personally woulnd suggest this because you could become reliant on these in order to be happy. When you take any drug you are putting strain on your heart, and this is made worse if you have any form of depression at the same time. This is easily reversible and even if you wish to continue smoking weed you still can. I would suggest non-competitive exercise, the smell of citrus orange fragrance, herbal remedy tablets, writing all your problems down, healthy eating. In all honesty i would not worry atall about this, theres nothing wrong with your heart its all in your mind. i know is easy to say but im telling you this from personal experience. It will go after a while once you start focusing on other things.

Yes weed does cause anxiety and other things. Best thing to do is stop . You will feel much better in yourself health wise also thinking clear.

I would advise you to find out other things weed can do to you. Always tell the doctor, nurse what you have had. They are not aloud to tell anyone what you have said to them with-out your permission first. Well they can't in Australia shore it would be the same in the U.S.

One day, I was at my friends house, and we were just hanging out (not smoking weed or anything), and all of a sudden I started getting heart palpitations, chest pains, and shortness of breath, and I just started freaking out that I was having a heart attack. My friend freaked out too, and called 911. When the paramedics got there, they did an EKG and said my heart rate was a little fast, but that I had just had a panic attack. They said "23 year olds don't have heart attacks", so that was quite relieving. They stayed until I calmed down, and then my friend called my parents and my boyfriend (now my husband) and had them come pick me up. I was so emberassed about the whole thing that I didn't talk to my friend for 6 months.....I just kind of pushed her away. The next day I went to the doctor, and she did a complete physical and diagnosed me with Anxiety. She wanted to put me on medication, but I refused. I thought the medication would kill me. So the anxiety continued, although I never had a huge panic attack like that again (just small ones). And finally one day I just got really sick of feeling this way, so I went back to the doctor and got a prescription for Paxil. I've been on it now for about 3 years, and I hate being on it.....I think it makes me a different kind of crazy, but I'm scared to get off it because I don't want the anxiety to come back. The reason I'm telling you all of this is because I've actually never heard of someone having a experience like the one I had. I don't know how old you are (hopefully you're at least out of high school), but I thought maybe my story could help you. I don't think there's anything wrong with your heart, but hopefully the doctors did plenty of tests to be sure. You should have definitely told them you were smoking pot. I think you have an anxiety problem, and smoking weed will definitely not help. I'm sure you don't want to have another experience like the one you described. I know from personal experience how bad that sucks!! So you might wanna lay off the weed for a while. If you're worried about what your friends might think, and you don't want to tell them the real reason you're quitting, just tell them that you're burnt out, or that you need to clear your head for a while. You really need to get some help for that anxiety problem. The weed isn't causing the anxiety, the anxiety problem is something you already had, but the weed is just intensifying it. Talk to your parents about it. You don't have to tell them you smoked weed, but tell them that you think you have anxiety, and get to a doctor. Your doctor will decide what is right for you. Anti-depressants suck, but they do make you feel better, and you might have to go on them. If you end up going on medication, I highly recommend staying away from weed and alcohol. But if you do end up smoking weed again (please make sure you're out of high school.....at least 18), and only take 1 or 2 hits. Take it slow to see how it's going to react with the medication. Because for me, the weed superceeds the medication, and I get symptoms of a panic attack. It's not cool. So stop, no more weed, ok? Go get treated for that anxiety and good luck!!

Reply:You cannot determine whether a condition is sex-linked simply on population, although that generally is a good guide. The x chromosome has many effects, including modifying some autosomal effects.

You probably need to reinstall or upgrade your version of adobe. It sounds like the reader plugin for the browser is not installed for IE7.

High fever 4 days after MMR shot -- linked????

I'm very worried, and waiting for my dr to call me back. My 12 month old son was given the MMR vaccine on Wednesday and on Sunday he had a 103.5 fever. He's never had that high of a fever before. Are they linked? He had a rash the day after the shot, but it disappeared quickly. Also, he was acting odd last night (the night of the fever), starring off into space after he woke up from his afternoon nap. I thought maybe it was from being hot/waking up. But I'm very nervous after reading the controversy.

We have him on Motrin and Tylenol and that's brought his fever down to 100, and are giving him tepid baths.

Advice would be great, keep in mind I'm very worried with all the autism links that appear on the web. Thanks.

my son just got his 12 month old shots too. he also got a high fever it was 104.6. the dr said the shots can certainly cause a fever, although she told me its not common for it to be that high. also the lowest i could get his fever with tyelone and motroin was 103. so if you are able to get it down to 100 then he is probably fine. call your dr or nurse and talk to them they may want to see him. also the fever lasted about 3-4 days going a little bit down each day. the dr.s didnt do anything for him.
Reply:I know my kids ran a fever with the MMR shot and it lasted longer than I expected. You may want to call your pediatrician. Most pediatrician offices has a emergency number if you a really concerned during the times that the office is closed. You have done everything right that I can see.

I understand your concern. My son had a virus during the winter that mad his temperature rise to 104.7. I was scared to death. The nurse said that she had seen higher and to only be concerned if it was that high constantly for a long period of time.
Reply:my son just had his on thursday and is having a bit of the same reaction. the nurse told us that a fever from the shot could last anywhere from 3-5 days. i was told that it was because they added the chicken pox vaccine to the combo. i would just wait on your doctor to call back to be safe. but i am sure your son is ok. give him lots of cool fluids and let him rest as much as possible too.

he is probably being lethargic because of his high temp. make sure you let your dr. know which method of temp taking you are using.

they do not use the chemical in the vaccines any more that contribute to autism. that you can be assured of. i have read in lots of places that the reactions to the shots can get worse as they get older. so just relax and wait for your doc to call back.
Reply:I'd be freaking out too and I have four children! Doctor's don't usually do much over the phone. I would take the baby to the best children's hospital around. I would be less concerned about the fever, 103.5 isn't really that high (it's high but not dangerously so) for a child. The staring off into space would concern me more. Take him to be seen by the best doctors you can find. It might be nothing, it might just be a simple reaction to the shot. I've had issues with pediatricians in the suburbs not being as knowledgeable as the docs at our children's hospital. Don't mess around, this is your child, if you are freaking out you are doing so for a reason. Always trust your gut!! Get him in to be seen and make sure everything is okay. Good luck!

The fact is, there has been some question about thimerosal in vaccines and the possible reactions. While it is true that they stopped using it as a preservative, there are still unanswered questions when it comes to vaccines link to autism. I have yet to find a comprehensive study on this topic and while I have vaccinated all of my children, I have really been concerned about this topic. I have held off on vaccinating my kids too early and I don't let them get more than two at a time. The fact remains that there is much that we do NOT know. They think that autism is genetic with some kind of environmental trigger. Could the trigger be vaccines? Until a better study is done it can't be ruled out. It could be something totally unrelated but again, they do not yet know what the trigger might be. I think we should all remain concerned and demand answers. Reading the stories of parents who have had children develop autism after vaccinations is incredibly heart breaking. My heart really goes out to these people. Something must be done to find the cause if it be vaccines or not! Everyone should educate themselves on this topic. Read everything you can, pro and con and always, always ask questions when it comes to your child. Autism rates have risen over the past decade and more. Reply:It sounds like the fever is linked to the shot... its fairly common that kids get a high fever after the MMR shot, and its usually 5-10 days after the shot.

I'm sure your son is acting odd due to the high fever and not feeling great.

I'm speaking as a mother of three kids, one of whom is autistic. And he does fall into that classic "was normal until around 18 months" autistic kids. Despite this, I really and truly feel there is no link between the vaccine and autism. There is no scientific proof, and I feel the increase in autism cases is due to better diagnosing of it, and the spectrum has become so broad it encompasses many disorders. I've done a lot of research trust me.

So try not to worry, see what your doctor has to say, and keep treating the fever as you have been. I hope he feels better soon!

Hello Gurus,

I have a system that runs a MSAccess front end with an SQL backend.

one form in my program adds a value to a field in a table in multiple rows as selected by the user.

My program works great on my laptop but when I install it on a server, It is not able to handle many rows - it gives this error -

ODBC - Update on a linked table failed - error code 3157.

Please help me!

Perhaps you have outdated or incorrect ODBC drivers on your server machine. Go to Start | Run and type

odbcad32.exe

Press ok. Check to see if you have the same DSNs (data source names) on both machines, and also the same ODBC drivers. You're probably missing one on the server machine that the laptop has installed. Just a thought. Hope it helps.

Medelian genetics is more simple, based on the idea that each parent contributes one allele to each gene, which will be either dominant or recessive. Example: If one parent gives the allele for blue eyes, and the other parent gives an allele for brown eyes, the resulting gene in their child will be Bb (both brown and blue are carried, but Brown shows through because it is dominant).

The idea that some can be co-dominant (like how a horse with one red parent and one grey parent comes out Roan, which is a mixture of the two colors rather than choosing one color or the other do be dominant), or that whether the offspring is male or female can affect the way these gene combinations play out, is not something that Mendel considered when working with his pea plant experiments.

I have no idea about the bacteria/insulin question.

The environment can control gene expression in many ways. For example, if a child is born with the genes to be tall, but grows up malnourished, he will still be short because his cells did not have the nutrition they needed to become tall. If a child is born with the gene for very light skin, but is exposed to a lot of sun without sunscreen or other protection, his skin will become dark to protect itself from the sun (tan).

I'm assuming this is for homework. I hope this helps; however, please don't just copy and paste my answers in- that's plagiarism. Restate the idea in your own words, and come up with your own examples where possible.

Reply:The short answer to your first answer is that life just isn't always as simple as Mendel's examples are.

Mendel started by picking easy traits to study in that they were qualitative (that is, on and off, not numerical, or quantitative), and he happened to pick 7 traits that were each controlled by only a single gene, and each of these genes was located on a different chromosome, so none of them were linked to each other.

The other thing about the traits he studied is that they only had two alleles, and that one allele was completely dominant compared to the other.

But reality is, for each trait that fits these narrow criteria, there are a thousand more that don't.

For instance, lets say an organism is heterozygous for two alleles of a gene, one of them pretty functional, and the other one isn't. If the phenotype of the organism with two working copies is indistinguishable from an organism with one working copy, then we're going to say that the working allele is completely dominant to the other one. This is the case for a lot of genes we know of, like Mendel's green and yellow peas.

But lets say that the single working copy in the heterzygote can't quite do all the work without a second copy present. Having a pink flower from red and white ones would be an example of this. We then have to say that there is incomplete dominance.

Now, if instead of a working allele and a broken allele, what if we just have two working, but different alleles, like A and B blood types. If an organisms has both alleles, they show both A and B proteins on the RBCs, and so those alleles are co-dominant.

Now, Mendel picked 7 traits to follow, and they happened to be located on 7 chromosomes. This meant that each was inherited independently of the others. This lead him to conclude that all genes were inherited independently of each other, but we know now that this is wrong. Genes which are located on the same chromosomal molecule are linked, and so alleles tend to "stick" together. How well depends on how close they are physically on the chromosome. Sex linked genes are a subset of other linked genes, since those genes lie on the sex chromosomes, the alleles are "linked" to the sex of the organism.

Other people answered the mutation question; a mutation is just a change in DNA.

Bacteria can be engineered to make human insulin by giving them the DNA that codes the protein (usually by transforming them with a plasmid that has the appropriate DNA on it), and letting them crank out all the insulin they can.

The environment controls gene expression lots of ways. A couple examples can be found in bacteria; the lac operon is the classic example: the genes for eating lactose are turned off unless lactose is present, and transcription is minimal unless the cell is really hungry.

Most casinos nowadays are too highly regulated to allow the mafia to have anything to do with their operations. That doesn't mean, however, that they don't cater to mafia types and turn a blind eye to things that might be going on under their roof. Certain casinos have earned reputations as "safe havens" for illegal activitity, but there is always plausible deniability. The mob is just another guest at a casino, they're no longer the casino itself. What is a circular linked list?
A linked list is a data structure in which each element contains the data you want to store, and a reference to the next element.

A circular linked list is a linked list where the 'last' element includes a reference to the 'first' element. I'm putting quotes around first and last, because the linked list is now circular, so there's no first and last anymore. It's kind of like a necklace that consists of all identical shackles; such a necklace doesn't have a beginning nor end, either.

It should be clear by now that you can't sort a circular linked list: the 'first' element might be bigger than the 'last' one, but since they are connected to each other (the list is circular!), they are no longer in order.

To illustrate: here's a regular linked list that contains the letters a, b, c and d:

b --- d --- c --- a

The letters are the data, the dashes are the links. A circular list would have dash between the last element (a) and the first (b):

b --- d --- c --- a

A sorted linked list would of course be like this:

a --- b --- c --- d

A circular sorted linked list can't exist

because, in this case, the letters are sorted alphabetically, but obviously the 'd' does NOT come before the letter 'a' even though the line between them does suggest that. To illustrate this, I 'broke' the line from d to a.

Reply:ok I'm going to pseudo talk this through, since you didn't mention a language, and i'm rusty on my c++.

A linked list is a list of something you have like in an array or vector, and you add and remove things by pointing (with pointers like -%26gt; or something) to a certain position, and doing your add or remove. Lets just stick with adding something right now. Remove has the same concept.

So you point to somewhere in your vector (like an array, but you dont have to specify length in the beginning) and you want to add a name. You point with the pointers, allocate another space, and add the name in that spot. Alternatively, not using linked list to put something in the middle of an array or vector will require you to find the spot, and move all the other allocated spaces over one, which will probably require a for loop, and take up more memory.

in sorting names, you would first add a name, then check the input of the second name, and if it goes after the first name, put it int he second spot. Check (input) of the third name, if it goes at the end, put your pointer at the end of the vector and add it there, if it goes in between the first and second name, point to the middle (aka right after the name of the previous letter), and add it there.

If you have your laptop and PC connected to the same Router/Switch (Linksys, Belkin, Netgear....) then you can share your printer from your pc and then access it from your laptop...

to share:

go to Printer and faxes folder

right click on your printer in your PC

click on sharing

setup a share name and press ok

then from your laptop go to start

click on run

in run type \\yourpcsname\ then enter

a folder will open and you can see your printer in there

then just double click on it and this should install the printer on your laptop.

Remember that if you turn of your pc then the printer will disappear and you can't use it.

I am just quessing but if it is your home PC and printer i doubt it unless your running on your own server. The thing you can do is install your printer on your laptop and only hook it up when you need to print.

But I have found that the largest group of children appear right after the 15 month visit for their very first MMR shot. I have looked at studies done over and over again and it seems if moms and dads just wait until about 24 months to do the first installment of this shot, the risk drops by more than 50%.

This is not hype...it's just not proven enough that the doctors have to find a new way to build the shot.

I am a heart patient. Since birth I was diagnosed with Tedrealogy of Fallot with interrupted Aortic arch. Which had been repaired in 1972 in West Germany. My second heart surgery was here in 1997 where I underwent a Pulmonic valve replacement. Now, is this linked in any way with suffering from Fibromyalgia?

As Fibromyalgia is a condition caused by the nervous system it is possible, that your heart condition could be contributory. The heart is controlled by the Autonomic nervous system and your fibromyalgia could arise from the Autonomic system. As you have Tetrology of Fallot, this would obviously affect the Autonomic system as your blood vessels were 'incorrectly plumbed'. Therefore messages controling heart rate, blood pressure etc would be problomatic. Also with the medical condition you have, oxygen starvation to the nervous system, would also cause problems. Have a look at the Mayo Clinic website. They have some very good information on both conditions.

I, of course, have searched yahoo and google but have yet to find one I can follow along with in C#. I have no prior knowledge of linked lists but I understand their purpose. I have also heard of Arraylist() and understand that this might be my answer. Anyway, any help would be great.

These are good tutorials if you want to write your own implementation, or just want to learn about the container. If you have an application that needs this kind of container, writing your own should be your last choice.

I do not know about C# but C++ offers all of the basic containers in the Standard Template Library (STL). Java has similar template container classes.

When you understand the basics, you can do a good job of choosing the right container from those available in standard implementations.

Reply:some people's interpretation's of faith is very narrow - unfortunately they tend to be most vocal. Because they don't feel faith spiritually, they try to reduce to a set of rules so that they can define it.

This cannot work and they basically turns their faith into a fight to protect those rules. I once heard that sort of faith described as balancing an orange on a toothpick - it is so unstable that any weakening of the foundation will bring the whole thing down - hence they become so dogmatic, stubborn and unchristian in how they live their faith and so intolerant and dismissive of anything different.

In all the research I've done, they say simply to 'click' on tools and manage add-ons, but when I click on this tools menu option, all are availalbe, EXCEPT the one I need. It is not even 'an option', and only in light black, unlike the rest, which are actually black and available to 'click' on. Any advice?

because if its y linked then women can't have it because women don't have a Y chromosome while if its X linked it is usually recessive so males don't have a dominate allele to counteract it so the recessive shows through and to have two X recessive alleles in one cell is very rare because the male has to have the recessive phenotype and the female has to have a heterozygous genotype. Sorry for the in depth language.
Reply:Well, with Hemophilia, it only shows up with an X and a Y....some women are XXYs and have hemophilia, but it's very rare....same thing happens with men who get women's diseases....they have an extra X chromisome.

Men only have one X chromosome and one Y chromosome, thus, whatever sex liked traits are carried on that X WILL be displayed in that male individual. Women are less likely to display the sex-linked characteristic because they inherit two X chromosomes. Because of this, the characteristic may or may not be displayed depending on whether it is a dominant trait or recessive trait.

Because of this, if a male displays a sex-linked trait, it may not show up in his female offspring, especially if it is a recessive trait and his wife is homozygous dominant.

Hemophilia is an example of a sex linked trait, as is colorblindness and male-pattern baldness. While men are commonly colorblind, females are rarely so. Also, male-pattern baldness will always be the fault of the mother. Males cannot contribute at all to male-pattern baldness because obviously they can only contribute the Y chromosome. I know it's not that relevant coz am a believer, but I can't help wondering why Jesus is linked with David's lineage. Joseph is from the line of King David, and is not the fether of Jesus. For Mary, mother of Jesus, I dont know if she is from that line. What puzzles me is, how is Jesus related to this lineage and yet Joseph is not His father??

Christians: How is Jesus linked with the line of King David?
In 2 Samuel 7.12-13, God promised King David that a blood descendent of King David's would one day rule from David's throne. God further promised David that this descendent would rule over His kingdom forever.

Of course we now know that it was Jesus Christ who God sent to rule forever from David's throne. (Luke 1.32)

To rule as King from David's throne, Jesus Christ HAD to meet TWO REQUIREMENTS as follows:

a) Jesus had to be a blood descendent of David, AND

b) Jesus had to be LEGALLY entitled to sit on David's throne.

God had a problem in having Jesus meet the second requirement named above. Here are the reasons:

a) David had many children, but only one of those children became king after David died. The son who became king was Solomon.

b) To be LEGALLY entitled to sit on David's throne, a person had to be a descendent of David through the kingly line of David's descendants. The kingly line of David's descendents began with King Solomon.

c) One of the kings who came along many years after David died was King Jeconiah (also called Coniah, and Jehoiahchin). King Jeconiah was, of course, a descendent of King Solomon and thus was in the kingly line of David. King Jeconiah did a great sin against God. Accordingly, God ordained that NO blood descendent of King Jeconiah would ever again sit on David's throne. (Jeremiah 22.30)

d) Because of what God said in Jeremiah 22.30, Jesus could NOT be a blood descendent of King Jeconiah. This meant that Jesus could not be a blood descendent in the KINGLY line of King David.

e) In summary, God's problem was this. To keep God's promise to David (2 Samuel 7.12-13) Jesus had to meet the following REQUIREMENTS:

1) Jesus had to be a blood descendent of King David, AND

2) Jesus had to be LEGALLY entitled to the throne, BUT

3) Jesus must not be a blood descendent through David's kingly line, because Jesus must NOT be a blood descendent of King Jeconiah (Jeremiah 22.30).

God's solution to the problem was as follows:

a) Among all of King David's children were two sons: Solomon and Nathan (2 Samuel 5.13-14).

b) Solomon was in the kingly line. Nathan was not.

c) Accordingly, anyone descended from Nathan would be a blood descendent of King David but would NOT be legally entitled to David's throne.

d) As explained in Matthew chapter 1, Joseph was legally the father of Jesus but he was NOT physically the father of Jesus, because Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary. Mary, of course, became Joseph's wife.

e) Matthew 1.1-17 gives the LEGAL geneology of Jesus Christ through His legal father, Joseph. Note that this geneology is fully within the kingly line of David (Mt 1.1), including King Solomon (Mt 1.6) and King Jeconiah (Mt 1.11).

f) Therefore, since Jesus was legally Joseph's son, and since Joseph was in the kingly line, Jesus was legally entitled to sit on the throne of David. However, Jesus was NOT a blood descendent of King Jeconiah.

g) Jesus was, of course, a blood descendent of His mother Mary.

h) The geneology in Luke 3.23-38 is the geneology of Mary, the mother of Jesus.

i) Luke 3.31 shows that Mary was a blood descendent of King David through David's son Nathan.

In summary:

a) Since Jesus was legally Joseph's son in the kingly line, Jesus was and is legally entitled to the throne of David.

b) Since Jesus was a blood descendent of David's son Nathan, through Jesus's mother Mary, He is a blood descendent of King David, as God promised He would be.

c) Since Jesus was Joseph's legal son but not his blood descendent, Jesus was not a blood descendent of King Jeconiah.

d) Accordingly, God kept all of His promises to King David except one -- that King Jesus would rule over an eternal kingdom. That promise WILL be fulfilled in the future (Dan 9.7, Rev 19.6).

Reply:Wikipedia links are made by hand. If you want to automate you have to use a server side program. The first thing you have to think of is that you don't want every word to be linked, so you will have to apply the function only to the desired areas.

I can provide you with a function in PHP that apply the replacements to a string (piece of text):

In all the research I've done, they say simply to 'click' on tools and manage add-ons, but when I click on this tools menu option, all are availalbe, EXCEPT the one I need. Funny Bun is right. I am Sikh and it did start out that way with link to Hinduism (the main and ultimate religion in India) but now evolved in the way that Funny Bun stipulates.

I have been a powerseller from 2000 up until my indefinet suspension. 100% feedback with never a dispute filed against me through ebay. I had squaretrade, paypal and was ID verified.

One day out of the blue, I recieved notification that my account has been suspended indefinetly for being linked to another users account. After many emails and appeals sent through thier useless contact method, I was able to find the user ID that they linked me to. This person is a relative whom lives in a totaly different household. He never logged in from my house. His bank account, credit card, paypal address ect.. had nothing to do with me! His last name is not even the same as mine but is only similar! They will not respond to my emails or appeals even though I am clearly mentioning that I have evidence that this person is not directly linked to me. At the time I was suspended, ebay was the only source of income I had. I had to sell my house, and car because my income changed. What can I do? Anyone

All I can see is that nothing is about finding Madeleine anymore and nothing appears to be about finding the truth.

All I know is that the investigation came to a stop (or was never allowed to begin) and the PJ are being prevented from accessing the McCanns, it seems.

I would like to know whether those famous questions are or aren't going to be answred. We read almost everyday that the PJ will interview the friends and that never seems to happen.

I have no difficulty doing this on my home network, but if you are trying to do it at work, there could be protocol filtering/blocking enabled that may prevent what you are trying to do.

That's a very interesting question, especially considering that muscular dystrophy mainly affects boys, and dyspraxia is more common in males, as well as them both involving muscular dysfunction... I've done a quick literature search (pubmed, medline), which revealed nothing about a possible link. They do appear to have separate etiological and biological origins though, with dyspraxia likely being a dysfunction of neural connections, while DMD is more of a killing/atrophy of muscle fibres, i.e. dyspraxia is a brain dysfunction, DMD a muscular dysfunction. This does not exclude the possibility of a relationship however, and it may be of interest to researchers in the field of movement disorders...

(1) sex linked traits are always located on the sex chromosomes...the X chromosome to be exact.

(2) they are usually expressed more often in males than females because males have only one X chromosome so only have to have that one X chromosome having the recessive gene where as in females on X can have the recessive gene and the other X can be dominant so therefore wouldn't show the sex-linked trait.

(3) For the same reasoning as the female part as above applies as being inherited the same as autosomal traits.

Reply:Could certainly be impaired ovary function triggered by the hyster. I had a hyster when I was 29 and began classical menopausal symptoms within 6 months. Not until 18mths later did i visit a female Dr who agreed that even if the ovaries are left intact, menopause can still begin. Then again, menopause isn't unusual in your age group. Blood tests at various times of your 'cycle' could pick up the reason.

The most likely sites to send people to yours are the big search engines.

So the first thing to do is do the 'link:' thing at Yahoo!, Google, MSN.

Then, if you want to see who has been sending you visitors, you can check in the access logs for the webserver your site is running on.

For this to be viable, the webserver needs to storing the value of HTTP_REFERER. Then you can check the logs for those values.

That'll tell you what links users clicked on to visit your site.

Maybe that's not quite what you had in mind, but that's the only other way I know.

Just remember, you can't tell who is linked to you until they actually utilise that link (i.e. click on it).

Until then it won't show up anywhere.

refers to genetic conditions that are related to the x-chromosome.

For instance, male pattern balding is linked to the x-chromosome. Because women have 2 x-chromosomes, it acts like a recessive trait and will show up only 1/4th of the time. Because men have only one x-chromosome it acts as a dominate trait and will show up half the time.

Therefore men -- balding is related to your mother. I have been seeing a therapist who specializes in compulsive sexual behaviors. I also attend 12 Step meetings for my sexually compulsive behaviors. My therapist is in agreement that I have a sexual behavior problem, and the therapist uses the term "sexual addiction" in describing my behavior problem. I won't get into the details. My therapist asks a lot of questions about my childhood, and lately has focused on my father's disciplinary actions, which can be viewed as physical abuse. Again, I will spare you the details. My therapist seems to imply that my "sexual addiction" is linked to physical abuse as a child. My question is how are the two linked? I am not into BDSM. I have my own theories, and I am interested in hearing your theories, particularly if you were physically abused as a child. I want to stress that I was NOT sexually abused. Thanks. Peace.

In some cases, yes. I was in training to be a foster parent a few years back, and that is one of the things they warned us about. Sex addiction is usually (though not always) a sign of a deeprooted need to be loved, accepted, and cared for. if a child is beaten, when they grow up they wish to hide from that pain and use sex (or drugs, or alcohol, or violence) to do it.
Reply:I would say I suffered a lot of verbal abuse which has caused me to be a sex addict, but I'm not sure whether actually its just normal. All men are addicted to sex.
Reply:Thats an extremely interesting question; as I used to have a friend who was both physically, emotionally and sexually abused, he was a sex addict, who basically then went on to abuse women in relationships....for example........having 8 to 9 sexual relationships at one time, along with 3 to 4 sexual meetings with consenting adults over a weekend period.....he said it was a power thing over women, because he had been sexually abused by his mother............good question x
Reply:Something tells me your therapist is a regular Freudian. If the abuse was sexual in nature, then yes it's quite possible. Otherwise, no. Maybe you just really like sex? (sometimes a cigar is just a cigar?)
Reply:That's an interesting question. I'm afraid I don't know if or how those two are connected. I myself was physically and mentally abused as a child and as an adult I seem to think about sex most of the time but practice it less than the average person. But the results of abuse come out in different ways depending on the individual involved. What's interesting is how often they are in the form of some addiction (sex, drugs, alcohol etc.). I wonder if it has anything to do with trying to deal with the pain. Some people may try to drown their sorrows while others try to use sex to get pleasure instead of the pain...? Just thinking out loud here, I don't know if this has anything to do with the real connection. Your question gave me some good food for thought though.
Reply:It seems that all sorts of behavorial and addictive behaviour problems are blamed on childhood experiences. I was physically abused as a child, in that both my parents, particularly my mom, believed in beating as a form of punishment. Not just slaps or spankings, but beating. I remember many times when I was bruised and sore from them. The belt was used or, when she was particularly angry, fists or shoes. I have no sexual or addictive behaviour, unless you count cigarettes, (which I gave up 15 years ago). My sisters and brother all have their idiosynchrysies and we are a normally dysfunctional family, but we all survived mostly intact. The lesson I learned from it was never to be the kind of parent my mother and father were. My siblings and myself still talk about these times when we get together, but we have gone on with our lives. You have to right? I think to overcome any type of dysfunctional behaviour makes you a stronger person for having gone through it, more than not.

My son hit his head when he was a baby, because my daughter was spoiled and jealous of him. She pulled a blanket underneath him and he fell and hit his head on the table while sitting. Now my son has OCD. Is his mental handicap linked to that situation? He tells me that he tells himself he is a f**king retard, and he thinks about his head injuries almost every second of the day. He is depressed because of the incident and he has bottled in the MOST hate EVER for his sister.

OCD is not a mental handicap, it is just a problem where he does things that are not normal to prevent certain things from happening. It is probably caused by his sister. Since she was mean to him and he had a head injury caused by his sister, he attributes her behavior towards himself that he is that way and does strange things to prevent another head injury.

However, going to see a psychiatrist will help. This is a curable problem, so since you know the source of the problem it is much easier for a pshyciatrist to help treat his case.

Believe your son needs help and the way this question is written I hope your daughter knows it's normal to have been jealous toward a sibling.Is she okay ? I'd protect my daughter from his anger , get him some real help now . Your son was probably born with OCD . Who told him his sister had done this ? I'm assuming they were really young. My son couldn't read ,learned his ABC's at 9 years old . I went thur many hard years %26amp; a lot of hugs. He felt he was retarded ( term no longer used professional). I took him to see children worse off than he is .They didn't know they had problems.I explained .And even when it's really hard , we can work it out .And we did .He finished high school ,he only can read 5th grade level. He had to get professional help with anger ( Due to the mean , thoughtless children at school )But he now makes $11.00 an hour at a casion.He knows how proud I am. It's hard being a child / teenager now more than years ago . As the schools just don't offer the programs some need and they don't (often ) do enough to stop the evil children that leave unseen scares in others.

Retinoschisis is a disease of the nerve tissue in the eye. It affects the retinal cells in the macula (the central fixation point of vision at the back of the eye). Retinoschisis is technically a form of macular degeneration. However there are different types of macular degeneration and many people diagnosed with macular degeneration do not have retinoschisis.

Retinoschisis is a genetic eye disease that affects the vision of men who inherit the disease from their mothers. This condition frequently starts during childhood and is officially called Juvenile X-linked Retinoschisis. Affected men inherit this trait from their mothers who carry the condition but retain normal vision.

Reply:My son has x-linked juvenile retinoscisis, he is two and was diagnosed over a year ago, and my brother has it as well. It is carried on the X chromosome, meaning females carry the gene and can pass the disease on to their male children. The only way for a female child to have the disease is if her mother was a carrier and her father had the disease. Since I carry the gene for the disease, my daughter (and any future daughters) has a 50/50 chance of being a carrier and my son (and any future sons) would have a 50/50 chance of having the disease.

The disease affects each person differently, some people have minimal vision impairment, while others will/have gone completely blind from the disease. My brother, for instance, is 23 and has one prostetic eye and his vision in the remaining eye is 20/700, with no peripheal.

Genetically, if your boyfriend fathers any daughters in the future, they have a 100% chance of carrying the gene, however, he cannot pass the disease on to a son.

Reply:Since it is sex linked it has to be either on x or y. The y has almost nothing other than stuff that tell male bodies how to do male stuff so that leaves the x. Also my genetics degree says that it is the x.

most of that stuff is NOTHING like MSI. Lots of them are DJs that just remix MSI songs.

Their own actual music is very different. I would start by listening to all of the MSI remix CDs (Straight to video, Bitches/Molly, Shut Me Up), and see which mixes you like.

I love MSI, and have 10 of their CDs, and I hate most of the remixes.

muZiq is pretty good though, and so is Kenny Muhammed.

today i got a horrible bloody nose that lasted over an hour. recently i stopped eating meat and my mom thinks that my bloody nose was linked with that. i just got another one right now... what can be causing them?

It is not a symptom of iron deficiency. However, if you have recently become a vegetarian, you should consult with a nutritionist or, if you are younger, a pediatrician who can determine if you should be taking an iron supplement (ie - just because the nosebleed is not a symptom of iron deficiency doesn't mean you don't have it, it is sometimes hard to detect without a test).

As for the nosebleed, I would say that if it doesn't happen again, you're probably fine. If they keep up, you should consult a doctor who may be able to determine the actual cause.

Fake periods linked with birth control pills?

Dilemma: I recommended my friend to take birth control pills because her boyfriend says that he is allergic to latex. However, she said something about “fake periods” being linked with birth control pills.

From what my friend heard: if a woman is taking birth control pills, it causes her to suppress their production of estradiol and progesterone. As a result, this causes women to produce a “fake period” because they are no longer ovulating. I wanted to know if this is true.?? So that I can comfirm this with her.

note: we already consider non-latex condoms but heard that there is a higher precentage of if breaking.

I also wanted to know if a guy or girl who is allergic to latex condom, will it cause the guy to become “soft” and the girl to become “dry”? If not, what are the real reactions of being allergic to latex?

Allergic reaction to latex has nothing to do with the guy becoming soft of the girl becoming dry. It has everything to do with burning, itching, sneezing, hives, and anaphalatic shock. It can be serious if used on a person that is allergic.
Reply:You are correct. The woman is no longer going to have a regular period, because she is no longer ovulating while taking the pill. The period you get when you take the pill is called withdrawl bleeding. It comes from the drop in the level of progesterone during the week on non-active pills.
Reply:no pills do not cause fake periods what shes talking a bout is that wen you start the pill it will make you have a couple of off periods UN till the pill levels out your hormones and there's latex free rubbers out there,, look for them in the rubber area
Reply:Yes, it is a fake period, known as a withdrawal bleed. It comes in your week off (while you take placebo pills) and lasts a few days although it is normally lighter than a normal period, depends on the woman, some still gets cramp etc.

I'm not sure why that's a concern...the pills are designed to have that bleed...is she against artificial hormones or something?

Scripture:

The message John received for “the angel of the church in Laodicea” was for people who had made mistakes (vs. 14-22). These people felt satisfied and didn’t feel that they needed anything. What particularly disgusted God was the fact that they were confident in themselves and lukewarm about their faith.

Although God was upset by these people, He also sent a message of hope. They still could turn their lives around if they were willing to repent. Instead of seeking the superficial things of this world, they needed to buy “gold refined by fire.” Instead of being lukewarm, they needed to develop an intense desire to serve Him and seek His Truth.

God warned the Laodiceans that He disciplines and reproves those He loves. This meant that they would be pruned in order to free their lives from sin. And this discipline would make them more mature so they would be ready to effectively serve God.

The Laodiceans didn’t have to feel discouraged or rejected. The Lord was right there, ready to welcome them and fellowship with them. They just needed to co-operate and let Him in. If they accepted His invitation, He promised that they could experience victory.

Today, listen to this message to the Laodicean church. Search your heart and repent of any pride. Don’t be haughty, but humble yourself before God. If you’ve made mistakes, ask for His forgiveness, but don’t give up!

Dedicate your life to God. Don’t be lukewarm, but serve Him with intensity. Hunger for more of Him. Right now, He is by your side, waiting for you. Answer His knock on the door of your heart.

Prayer:

Father, forgive my sins and any pride in my life. Forgive me for being lukewarm. I hunger to know You better. I dedicate my life to You and Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

it's recessive so for a female to have muscular dystrophy, it must be on both of her X chromosomes.. That's why for X-linked recessive disorders, females tend to be carriers more often then affected by the actualy disease.

For males it's impossible for them to be carriers so if they recieve an affected X chromosome, they're screwed. They have it no matter what.
Reply:Men are XY, and women are XX. X-linked recessive alleles are usually more prominent in men because they only need to get the recessive allele one time on their only x chromosome. For women to have a disease that is x-linked recessive, they must have the recessive allele on both of their X chromosomes.
Reply:because males have x and y and all he needs is the x to have the recessive trait...however, in females we have x and x sex chromosomes so we need it on both x's. using a punnett square this means that your mom must be a carrier and your dad must have the disease. i hope this helped

I have been taking Alli for a few weeks or so, but decided to stop due to the gross side effects. It wasn't worth it. It's been about a week since I've stopped, but now I've been getting random muscle spasms where my leg, arm, or whole body will suddenly jerk or jump. It's called Tourette Syndrome and it's a tic.

Well, I linked it to Alli, perhaps. Alli says to take a multivitamin before bed becaise Alli tends to absorb the vitamins. Well, I think that I've been depleted of vitamins and minerals such as Magnesium and Potassium and perhaps even Calcium. Without these, the muscles have become less elastic and maybe this is what is causing my spasms.

Does that seem possible? I am really worried. Do you think by consuming more of these three I will regain full control of my body?

P.S. As for age, I am still quite young. I don't know if that affects anything.

I don't think you have actual Tourettes, just a muscle spasm. I doubt the Alli depleted you of all the vitamins you mentioned. Since Alli binds fat and helps it exit your body without being absorbed, it only takes fat soluble vitamins with it. Fat soluble vitamins are A, E, K, and they take awhile to actually deplete. I would see a doctor if the spasms last more than a few days, and do try to eat some extra potassium in the meantime. I do think this is not related to Alli.
Reply:the same thing happend to me when i took it and stopped. i even had to go see my dr. he said just drink more water and take vitamine, and about 2 weeks later it all stopped. i would wake up in the midle of the night in so much pain from my legs craming. dont worry, it will go away. oh, drink gatorade, it helps.
