I get rashes (really bad cases which need benadryl to calm them) about twice a month and I was wondering if the rashes may be linked to hormone changes throughout the menstrual cycle?

Yes, this could be related to being allergic to your own hormones. I've also heard of this occurring for women who are allergic to their husband's semen.
I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.
